Marta Mattox is owner and CEO of TexStar Marketing, Inc., which developed and distributes the Texas Crystal brand. TexStar Marketing, Inc. is a woman-owned business certified by:
• the City of Austin,
• State of Texas, and
• U.S. Government.
Bottling plant is a member of the International Bottled Water Association and our bottler is certified as a plant operator meeting Texas Department of Health and FDA requirements.
Ms. Mattox is a graduate of Hollins College of Roanoke-Virginia. She was one of the first women to attend the Washington & Lee University (as a woman undergraduate during non-war years), where she studied journalism and business. She studied abroad, in London, through the Hollins Abroad program.
She began her business career in Houston Texas in 1977, producing industrial sales and marketing films and videotapes. She started a full service advertising and public relations firm "Image Makers." For over twenty years, Ms. Mattox has provided advertising, marketing, and press services to a wide range of national and international accounts.
